Here is a litte clip of meeting Jacob Black {The other Man/Wolf} and on this link you can see a teaser clip of the movie it's self. SWEET WRAPS FOR A CURE

ABOUT:

"Ronald McDonald House Winnipeg is a home away from home for out-of-town families whose children are undergoing treatment for cancer or other life-threatening illnesses at the Children’s Hospital in Winnipeg Manitoba, Canada." This is an amazing organization, providing a "home-away-from-home where parents can relax, prepare a hot meal and share their concerns with other parents in similar situations.

MY PROJECT:

My cousin-in-law was recently diagnosed with Melanoma, both my Grandparents passed from Cancer. My husbands Grandfather passed of Cancer also. Unfortunately the list is endless. And for many other families this is the same.

What I have started is a wonderful and exciting new project called "Sweet Wraps for a Cure". Children are our future, and we should keep it that way. People are always donating money, money & MORE money to multiple charities on a daily basis, which is an amazing gift to give. We are always donating money ourselves to various charities. I have decided to make a different kind of donation. This is a 'gift of kind' donation that a child can hold onto, and wear. It's right there for them to see & feel. Children that are undergoing cancer treatment of course are looking for a cure, they are also looking for something special. I have created a product called "Sweet Wraps". Whether a child has lost their hair through chemo or are about to face the hardship of it, these Wraps are Fun & Funky! Super easy to put on, made of 100% cotton, lightweight and will bring a smile to any little ones face!

To start off this project I will be donating to the children at The Ronald McDonald House of Winnipeg MB, Canada. For every 2 Sweet Wraps I sell, I will donate 1 (one). I have many different fun kids fabrics and many more to come!

Sweet Wraps are available at Sweet Words for only $4.95 USD/each.

We as a family are looking forward to our first donation! Which I will be presenting in Person.

I Love Sweet Hubby...

Yesterday we had to go into the city {which most of you knows - is a 3 hours drive from our small town} to have our new truck serviced & grocery shop. While we were there the dealership told us they didn't know how long it would take to have our truck fixed, so we got a shuttle to the closest mall. We had food court lunch, walked around window shopping, then Sweet Hubby too Sweet Baby to the potty {YES, she's potty training NOW!!!} while I looked around at Please Mum. I had picked out a couple items that I was going to purchase when all of a sudden Sweet Hubby comes in and says "Come with me I have to show you something". So, I put the clothes back and follow him.

We stopped in front of a nail salon, and he says "There's an opening, go get your nail, hand things done". Loved his wording! So for the next hour I had a pedicure & manicure done. It was SO relaxing, minus all the woman that worked there speaking another language to each other, I sure wish I knew what they said, or maybe I didn't want to know! All I cared about was the RELAXATION.

Thank you so much Sweet Hubby, I love you so much!

P.S. Sweet Baby wanted just her big toes painted, in BLUE.

MY NEXT LIFE

I frequently get emails (fwd's) from my mother-in-law. Usually I delete all my fwd's but this time I read one. I had to share it, because it would be AWESOME!!!!

MY NEXT LIFE By George Carlin

I want to live my next life backwards: You start out dead and get that out of the way. Then you wake up in a nursing home feeling better every day. Then you get kicked out for being too healthy. Enjoy your retirement and collect your pension. Then when you start work, you get a gold watch on your first day. You work 40 years until you're too young to work. You get ready; for High School: drink alcohol, party, and you're generally promiscuous. Then you go to primary school, you become a kid, you play, and you have no responsibilities. Then you become a baby, and then... You spend your last 9 months floating peacefully in luxury, in Spa-like conditions - central heating, room service on tap, and then ...

You finish off as an Orgasm!

Review/Giveaway - The X-treme Eco-Friendly Cloth

I recently had the opportunity to try out The X-treme Eco-Friendly Cloth a while back and fell in love. Being a stay at home mom, cleaning is in my job title. Every chance I get to try a new product that will actually clean my windows/mirrors/counter ect. without me having to use rubber gloves and multiple cloths is great. The X-treme Eco-Friendly Cloth is now my new favorite cloth to use.

First and for most, it is Eco-Friendly, which is very important to me. With this cloth there is no more need for Window Cleaners * Chemicals * Paper Towels which = Saving $$. This is always a PLUS! I have been using the cloth for the past 3 weeks, and not once has it left a spot on my mirrors/windows/TVs. No more streaks. I have constant toothpaste stains in my bathroom sink, all I do is take the cloth, wet 1/2 and wring it out, wipe the sink, dry the sink... SPOTLESS!

All the cloth takes is, Water. This product is new to the Canadian Market, originally made in North America. This fantastic cloth is being sold through 'The X-treme Fundraising Company' based out of Winnipeg Manitoba. All cloths packaged by those with special needs.

I will be giving away one (1) X-treme Eco-Friendly Cloth to the contest winner. Tell me how you clean your mirrors/windows etc right now.

You can earn 1 extra entries each for doing any of the following (you must post a separate comment for each one that you do)

Interesting Ads

Last night Sweet Hubby was looking for campers on Kijiji. When he came across the most interesting Ad that either of us have ever seen. It's bizarre what people will put out there for Ads. Here it is;

Camping Couple With Kids Wanted

Hey everyone, thanks for taking the time to read our ad. Just thought we'd go to the source. We are a happily married couple in our 30's with two young kids. We love the outdoors, bonfires, beach, boating and especially camping. We like to spent most of our summer out in the Whiteshell area. We are looking for a couple close in age that have younger kids, who enjoys much of the same as we both do. We don't smoke, like to have a drink and are comfortable in our skin for those adult nights!!!! If this sounds interesting to you both, drop us a line so we can book those sites together this summer!!!! Who knows where it may lead us. Cheers
Now at first when Sweet Hubby was reading this to me, I thought "that's a different way to meet new people". Then he continued, and I thought "that's a swingers AD".

Will the kicking ever stop?

Sleepless nights. Up 2-3 times a night. A once heavy sleeper. Do you have a little one that has flipped your sleep life inside out? If so, then you are in the same boat as 80% of mommies. When I was pregnant with Sweet Baby, my restless nights had already began. I would be up multiple times in the night from all her KICKING. This little thing that was inside of me kicked so hard I wouldn't be surprised if there are bruises on my uterus.

When she was born, the kicking continued. During tummy time, in her swing, feeding time, those little legs were all over the map. Fast forward to 13 months old. Those harmless little legs recruited the little feet and together they began kick her crib bars. Oh, and since the crib was against the wall. Yep, you guessed it, the legs & feet then started kicking the walls. At this point we were living in a rental townhouse, so kicking the wall was an even bigger NO NO. This went on for a while, when we realized "Let's move the crib from against the wall". This was done, but the kicking continued for months.

By the time Sweet Baby was about 17 months old, we brought out her big girl toddler bed set it up, and disassembled the crib. At first I was very nervous, for sure thought she would fall the whole 1.5 feet to the ground and knock herself out. Once Sweet Hubby assured me that, YES she will fall out, and, NO she wont knock herself out being only 1.5 feet from the ground. My little over reacting Mommy Brain became Reality Mommy Brain. She did fall, and she survived the 3 falls {I layed down mats & plush toys}.

Thinking that with the new bed, the kicking would stop. Boy was I ever wrong. If anything it became worse, she was now able to lay on her back, prop her legs up against the wall and sporadically kick when she felt like driving her mother NUTS. After many stern talkings to, and her sleepless nights, the novelty of actually being able to kick the walls easier, wore off. Us moving the bed away from the wall had nothing to do with it, I'm sure!

When we moved into our new house Sweet Baby was so excited to have a new bedroom that I think she forgot all about the kicking. We thought we were home free. HA! Think again. It all started over again, even now that she is in a Bigger Girl Bed, a twin, the kicking is getting worse. Her new bedroom is so much smaller that her old one and I want to move her bed to the middle of the room so she will stop, but the room will become even smaller. BUT, I'm going to do it anyways. The things we do to teach our children a lesson.

Wish us Luck!
